The other day I managed to honor the oldest invitation of one of the most special people in the world of Romanian wine, Florin Stegariu, the owner of strunga winery.
And when I say “special”, it is because it is hard to include in a word the youth, the enthusiasm, the passion for good wines, the dedication, the respect for values and traditions, the effort for evolution and improvement – all of them being doubled by modesty, almost humility. And, moreover, all these values were instilled in the other people in the wine cellar and in the vineyard.
We tasted and redisgusted wines from the #DeschidemVinulRomanesc by Carrefour program, but also wines still unreleased, we reconfirmed the fact that the Ottonel Muscatul here can have spectacular results and, because Florin not only loves his wine cellar and vineyard, but his entire land, we continued the visit to the wine cellar with a walk to sturdza Castle and vasile Alecsandri memorial house. So, if you are in the area, know that you have something to do with a whole day!
